China High Speed Train (Bullet Train)
In 1875, the UK laid a 14.5-kilometer long railroad---Wusong railway. Wusong railway is the first profitable railroad in China. On January 20th, steel rail laying began in Shanghai. It was built by the UK without permit. Wusong railway ran about one year, and Qing government redeemed and teared down it. Wusong railway opens the railway construction in China.High speed trains, which are also called bullet, fast, or CRH trains, are identified as G, D and C trains in China.
Currently, there are about 2,000 high speed trains running along the high speed rail with a length of over 12,500 mi (20,000 km), covering almost every large city and most tourism destinations. Those high speed railways form the China high speed train map.Their top speed is 186 mph (300 km/h), which is planned to increase to 217 mph (350 km/h) in the near future.
Painted in white or grey with a ‘bullet’ locomotive, the high speed trains can be easily recognized.
Tickets on fast trains are generally divided into second class seat, first class seat, business class seat, VIP class seat. On a few overnight D ones, soft sleeper and luxury soft sleeper are provided. Also on some D ones, standing room tickets will be issued when all seats are sold out.

Railway Track Design Becomes More Important:
AGICO is professional steel rail manufacture, It Is one of the most powerful railroad fasteners suppliers in China. We are available to produce steel rails of various standards used in coal mining, main railway lines, factories, cranes, etc. There are light steel rails, heavy steel rails, crane steel rails, and over heavy steel rail.
Railway Track Design Quality Control:
Under the guidance of "Quality First" principle, we have controlled strictly about the quality of rail fasteners, and issued the relevant test report. In 2015, we invested $10,000,000 to upgrade the experimental testing equipment, more modern, more accurate facilities have guaranteed the high-quality. What's more, because of railway track design becomes more important, AGICO has specialized subdivisional service systems. We have Quality Inspection Dept., Production & Technology Dept., Equipment Management Dept., Operation Dept., Financing Dept., and Administrative Office, these departments formed a structure of the company, which make sure we run all works professional and orderly. We hope by our high-quality railway track design,AGICO can contribute to high speed trains.
Advantages of High Speed Trains:
1. Fast: With the acceleration of the speed, railway track design becomes more important. Their present operational speed of China trains high speed type is 155-186 mph (250-300 km/h), greatly shortening the journey time. For instance, the duration from Beijing to Shanghai has been shortened from 15 hours to about 5 hours.2. Punctual: Being different from flights, they are less influenced by weather or traffic control, hence able to arrive at their destinations on time.
3. Convenient: CRH trains are scheduled more frequently than normal ones and many of the high speed railway stations are reachable by subway, making rail journey much more convenient than before.
4. Reasonablely priced: Although the ticket may cost a little more than a non-bullet train ticket, it is much cheaper than a flight. Take the journey from Beijing to Shanghai for instance, a soft sleeper on a non-bullet train costs CNY476.5, a second class seat on a bullet one costs CNY553, while the full fare of an economy class seat on an airplane is over CNY 1,000.
5. Comfortable: The carriages are much better equipped than the old-generation carriages, and can rival airplanes. Seats are wider and softer, windows are bigger, and washrooms are cleaner… All these ensure passengers a comfortable and pleasant journey.
6. Safe: The fast trains are operated by advanced technological communication systems to ensure passengers’ safety.
Development and Current Network.
Since the earliest high speed rail line, Beijing - Tianjin Inter-city high speed rail line was opened in 2008, China has developed a dense high speed railway network as long as 12,500 miles (20,000 kilometers).
It mainly consists of four north-south and four east-west trunk lines, and some inter-city lines, greatly shortening the travel time in China.
Our country does not stop extending its high speed railway network. According to the plan, the high speed rail will reach 18,600 miles (30,000 kilometers) by 2020 and the network will consist of eight north-south and eight east-west trunk lines by 2030.
